Finding a place to live can be very stressful. I had used multiple letting agents who had proven this to be painfully true, but my experience changed when I walked into JWW Lettings in Durham. I was impressed by their team work, problem solving, responsiveness and professionalism, as they worked together to find me my home. Their client-focused, personal approach (thank you Danielle, Nicole and in particular Ashley) ensured nothing less than a very positive experience. I was able to secure a tenancy very quickly. Processes which had taken days with other agents, took a matter of hours. I can not emphasise enough what a difference this made to the whole interaction. I was surprised and impressed at the degree of attentiveness from such a large lettings agency, providing the level of service of a small family business. An unequivocal 5 stars and a big thank you for their engagement and flexibility, going above and beyond in facilitating my viewing, as well as their communication and simplification around the whole process; their efficiency was so reassuring. I can’t recommend them highly enough, nor express adequately the positive impact they had at such a potentially stressful time. It is a long time since I have received such a level of personal service within any industry. What may have seemed like small things to them, really did make a big difference to me, as a (disheartened) renter. I rarely write reviews, but felt compelled, as testament to my genuine level of gratitude and appreciation to them for their approach and also to serve as enlightenment to other renters in a similar position. Had my first annual inspection not so long ago with newbie Paige who was very friendly. Upon inspection was asked if I had any issues that needed sorting which I had 2, no hot water and a towel warmer that didn't work. Paige sent an electrician out the following week and both problems were fixed. Belting service and customer care.

I have no hesitancy in giving 5 stars for the level of service I have received as a landlord of properties that are now managed by JWW Lettings. Paul and Gill go more than the extra mile to ensure that properties are well managed, checks are thorough during tenancy change-overs, and I am kept up-dated with any relevant information in general, which is very reassuring. I would imagine that tenants feel equally supported, enabling landlords to act should work need to be carried out, to ensure tenants are happy in their home.

The service has been great, properties have been let out very quickly and rent targets have been achieved. Follow up with tenants has also been prompt and professional. We find JW Woods accessible and quick to respond. Highly recommended.
