Second estate agents we used in Consett after a previous property fell through. Compared to experiences with a competitor, Woods were excellent to deal with. Great communication, friendly staff and easy to contact If only solicitors were as good!

J W Wood have assisted me now in purchasing two properties. I have worked principally with Denise. I like her a lot. She has an easy nature and knows her stuff. Always a pleasure.

The thought of moving House at the ages of 77 and 83 yrs Old we were very concerned about what lay ahead. We decided to use JW Wood estate agents in Consett as we had used them just over 20 years ago to move into the House we were now having to sell due to ill health. All the staff were very friendly but at the same time professional and guided us through everything along the way. Daily update by E Mail and telephone assured us the sale was in good ex experienced hands. Within 5 Days we had 3 viewings and a second visit from one person who actually bought Our House. Not just because we have a sale going through but i would genuinely recommend this estate agent to Market your Property.

I must admit I called the office multiple times a day which some estate agents have been a little let’s say ‘tired of’ yet not once were the lady’s there rude, tired or annoyed at my voice down the phone! I found the staff at JW Wood very professional, understanding and helpful, if the member of staff wasn't available to speak to there was always a call back the same day. They were informative with updates and kept us in the loop and would always ensure viewings at the premises would go ahead if we couldn't make them personally. When taking the photos of the house feedback was given in terms of ensuring we got the best photos and revisits for the rooms that weren't quite right for the photos.
