I found the staff at JW Wood very professional, understanding and helpful, if the member of staff wasn't available to speak to there was always a call back the same day. They were informative with updates and kept us in the loop and would always ensure viewings at the premises would go ahead if we couldn't make them personally. When taking the photos of the house feedback was given in terms of ensuring we got the best photos and revisits for the rooms that weren't quite right for the photos. Firstly I have never used this Estate Agent before, however they came highly recommended by a friend of my Dad. In simple terms if there was a 6th star then I would have given them that. Bought a house through JW Wood and they were super helpful throughout the entire process. Unfortunately our sale took a good amount of time (22 weeks for a vacant property with no chain involved!) but that was due to delays beyond the agents control. Throughout the entire process and out of all the people we dealt with, I had upmost trust in Kelly, who was our case manager, and Olivia who always seemed to answer the phone when I called in. Both were super very friendly and keen to help. They supported me with advice on how to chase things up with the solicitors and we are really happy with JW Woods service.

J.W. Wood, Consett Branch took all the pain out of the house buying process, with regular updates of progress and patiently explaining the, sometimes confusing, terminology and procedures involved. We spoke to several of the team at Consett, who were all very professional, but mainly dealt with Samantha Galbraith who has been superb in her patience and detailed handling of the process, by liaising with all the solicitors involved and also keeping us (and the sellers) 'in the loop' at all times. We finally reached completion today and are highly delighted with the house. So, have to say many thanks to Sam and the team for all their help.

Buying a new home is stressful. Buying a new home during a pandemic and that stress is heightened. Buying a new home during a pandemic at the other end of the country, and that stress is taken to a whole new level! I need not have worried though because from the moment I first spoke with the Branch Manager, Clare, I felt instantly reassured and knew that I was in safe hands. In these strange times with extremely limited viewing opportunities and restrictions on travel, the support of a good estate agent really is more critical than ever. I honestly feel as though I have a trusted old friend guiding me through and helping to ensure that my dream home becomes a reality. Thank you. Whilst I primarily deal with Clare, I should also mention that every person that I have spoken with at the branch has been super friendly and very efficient at all times. Highly recommended!

All of the team at the Consett office were always friendly and helpful. From when we started to view properties to when we were making an offer. They really care and actually make you feel more than just a number. They all deserve a medal for all my questions! Especially Adele I almost had her on speed dial!!!
