A hugely successful night was had by all on Friday at this years Durham Barnardo's Sports Dinner.

As always the event was filled to capacity, made up of local businesses and their clients filling over 200 seats.

The evening comprised of a fabulous dinner as provided by The Ramside in addition to dinner games and an auction.

The auction, conducted by JW Wood Chairman Keith Johnson included a selection of lots including sports memorabilia, holiday cottages and exclusive entry to sports clubs raised in excess of £12,500.

Further monies were raised in a raffle and prize competition, ably assisted by Hannah, Leanne, Kirsty and Denise from JW Wood in Durham, allowing the evening to raise over £22,000 which will be put towards continuing the work of Barnardo's North East.
