The annual Bede Rotary Club games night was held on Monday 18th March at the Abbey Road Sports Centre Durham. 38 teams from rotary clubs across the region enjoyed playing 12 games which included putting, carpet bowls, darts, as well as other table games.
It was a fun night and the competition was fierce and at the end of the evening 3rd place was shared by Washington Forge and Consett. Second place went to Spennymoor and with the margin of only half a point the winners were the team from Washington.
Bede president Geoff O'Hehir presented the sort after trophy to the winners and although this was a night of Fellowship and fun it also raised £680 for local charities.
