Durham FC Women moved up to third in Women's Super League Two thanks to a 4-0 victory over London Bees at the Hive.

Beth Hepple's brace and second-half goals from Amelia Pereira and debutant Jess Havelock gave Durham an easy win.

Elsewhere, Millwall remain unbeaten in the league so far this season after a 0-0 draw away to winless Watford.

Meanwhile, Aston Villa secured their second win of the season as goals from Jade Richards and Olivia Ferguson saw them beat Oxford United 2-0.

Lauren Allison did have a chance to pull one back for Oxford, after Katy Moran was adjudged to have handled in the area, but she sent her penalty wide.

Oxford boss Les Taylor was unimpressed with his side's performance, as they succumbed to a third league defeat in four games.

\"I thought we were poor,\" Taylor said. \"We just weren't at the races.

\"I thought that Aston Villa were a team that we could have beaten today if we had performed but we were nowhere near.\"

Villa defender Richards added: \"We are unbeaten away from home at the minute - we just need to sort out our home form and make it a fortress.\"

Villa remain seventh but are now level on points with third-placed Durham.

Durham debutant Havelock, who signed from Newcastle earlier in the week, said: \"I really wasn't expecting to start. I have only trained with the rest of the girls three times since I joined and it was amazing that the manager had the faith in me to give me this opportunity.

\"I am delighted to score on my debut, especially considering it was on my weaker right foot.\"

Ninth-placed London Bees remain without a league win this season.

\"The main problem today was that negativity crept into the team,\" Bees boss Julian Broomes said. \"They all want to win so much we end up trying to play a style of football that maybe doesn't suit the team.

\"The girls are just not expressing themselves enough.\"

Meanwhile, on-loan Watford teenager Jenna Dear felt her side turned a corner with their first point of the season against Millwall.

\"This was a much improved performance compared to our last few games,\" Dear said.

\"I think we deserved to win the game, so it is a bit frustrating to only come out with the one point. We created some good chances in the first half.\"

Sixth-placed Millwall are now one of only three sides to have avoided defeat in WSL 2 so far this season.
