On the 16th January 2003 JW Wood were very proud to invite guests to the opening of their new look Durham Office with its greatly increased size. The extension converted our previously narrow building into the imposing three storey head office that it is today.
This new space has allowed JW Wood to maintain and expand its comprehensive range of property services all under one roof in the heart of Durham City. Current departments include:

- And the head office team
JW Wood have been in business since 1910, and have seen many changes since then, but we continue to invest, improve and innovate. Our most recent upgrade gave all our valuation team cutting edge tablet computers allowing their electronic office to go with them. Our valuers can now even start completing property details whilst still in your home.
We believe that with our commitment to modern technology, backed by professional, highly trained and motivated staff and coupled with the continuing support of our clients, many of whom return to us over the years; allows us to succeed at our primary goal of being number one in County Durham and Darlington.
Chairman Keith Johnson says “We moved to Elvet in the early eighties and grew too large for the premises in the nineties. Despite the recession we have enjoyed continued success and the expanded office has enable us to provide additional services to our clients and improve the facilities for our staff.
