Lindisfarne Gospels Creative Colouring

Prizes were given out to children who celebrated the return of the Lindisfarne Gospels to the region with some creative colouring.

More than 100 children entered a colouring competition organised by Darlington Libraries to mark the return of the Lindisfarne Gospels, currently being displayed in Durham.

Four winners were selected by Paul Rickaby, the director of JW Wood Estate Agents, who sponsored the competition.

Prizes were awarded to Cameron Rocks (6), Jessica Pearson (7), Kate Bower (11) and Jane Matthew Jose (13).

The gospels will be displayed at Durham’s Palace Green Library until Monday 30th September.
