JW Wood sponsored Durham Wilcats off to a fantastic start.
After a whirlwind start that saw the England U20 international play twice in four days after putting pen to paper, Dodds is now targeting no more defeats starting with next weekend's visit of Yeovil Town Ladies.
Having had a few weeks off to recover, Dodds now says she is glad to be back in training: \"It feels really good to back - even though there's lots of sprints before we get back in to it! \"Hopefully we can get back in to it and push up the table even more.”
The visit of Yeovil, who currently sit top of FA WSL, looks to be a stern test and Dodds is well aware of this: \"They're obviously going to be hard if they're top of the league. \"I'm just hoping we can score a couple of goals because they're crucial. \"We've seen with England (yesterday) what a difference a goal can make in getting three points.”
And on targets for the second half of the season, Dodds said: \"I don't want any defeats. \"We need to win and move up that table. \"We need to push higher. \"We need to stay in the top three and try and break into the top two - winning it would be better though!”
The winger has now spent a month at New Ferens Park, and seems to be settling into life at the club well. \"It's great,\" she said. \"The first week was chaotic with one training session then two matches but it's been really fun. \"All the girls are great and easy to get on with.”
