A recent survey taken by Home Sale Network amongst its member estate agents has found a shift in the type of buyer entering the market today, compared to 10 years ago. In 2002, the majority (48%) of survey respondents said that the homebuyer population was mostly made up of young buyers entering the market for the very first time, but 10 years on, this figure has dropped to just 1% of respondents indicating so.

Business is booming for a leading estate agent, with completed sales up more than a third compared to the same period last year. JW Wood staff in Durham are celebrating the 34 per cent rise in completions compared to the same five-month period in 2011.
A recent survey has revealed the most popular property types currently available in the UK. Conducted by estate agency organisation, Home Sale Network amongst its members, the survey found that two and three bedroom houses topped the list.
